Functionality Enrollment
Denial Management & Collections Fees
Clients Functionality FAQs No, our platform is highly advanced on our end, that the client physicians do not need any computer on theirs. Simply fax your superbills/encounter forms to an assigned toll free number. You will be provided with a client dashboard login and password. With that, you can view many reports online including daily billed charges, procedure details, cash flow, month to month comparison, production summary, insurance aging, day sheeet, charge summary, and more. We generally ask to fax (toll free) us your superbills/encounter forms in two shifts (Noon and End of Day.) We then take the superbills and transpose them electronically, and run it through our software to ensure coding/credentialling information. We then submit them immediately to the insurance companies and Medicare directly. Should we request any notes or patient information, you will be notified to forward this information to us. Should any denials come, you will forward the eob's to us via the toll free fax number and we will follow our internal denial management protocols. Do you do verification of benefits? Yes, for an addtional monthly charge, we do offer verification of benefits in detail. Our represtentative will call with any specific questions your practice may require. Enrollment FAQs What does it cost me to enroll? Our enrollment processing costs one month flat fee charge, based on your claim volume. Call our toll free number, and request a billing agreement from one of our sales representatives. Once you receive it, sign it, fax it back, and an enrollment manager will follow up with a few more forms to process enrollment. How long does it take before you can start billing for me? This depends on your state/region, and requirements for Medicare and Major Medical insurance companies in your area. The process can take anywhere between 2 to 3 weeks for Major Medical (BCBS, AETNA, etc.) and one month for Medicare enrollment. Denial Management & Collections FAQs Yes of course, Manage MD's takes pride in its denial management protocols. We not only go after your ZERO balances, but we also fight for your partial payments. Do we get paid directly from the payors? Yes, absolutely. We are hired as only your billing & denial management company. You will receive checks or direct deposits payable and sent to you only. I have over 90 day unpaid balances. Absolutely. Manage MD can help you gain a good percentage of dated claims. This will take dilligent efforts on both our staff as well as your staff. This service is not included in the flat fee, but we can accomodate a fair percentage charge. Fees FAQs We have designed a flat fee structure that helps you grow your practice, without worrying about percentage rates increasing. Our fees do increase, but only at a nominal amount, and designated in incremental brackets, allowing you to collect more. Do you charge clearinghouse fees? No, as another benefit of Manage MD, we are a self sufficient clearinghouse. There are no additional fees to you. Are patient statements included in the flat fee? Electronic patient statements emailed to you are inclusive. However if you want us to mail statements to patients directly, there is an $1.00 / patient charge / mo. We highly suggest you to handle patient statements, incase you are selective in whom you want to chase for patient portions. Clients FAQs Currently Manage MD has over 180 clients nationwide. Our clients range in various Medical and Physical Medicine specialties. Do you have any references we can contact? Yes, of course. We can furnish you a list of a few physicians. Many physicians do not like their contact information distributed, however there are several that have agreed to help us gain referrals.
